I am Keith Blackman. I was born and raised in The Bronx, uptown New York City. I currently live with my mother and my little brother. I wanted to attend Pace University to learn more about art and music and get a feel about what is all about.

I attended the Melissa Riggio Higher Education program at Hostos Community College and my two majors are English and Criminal Justice. I took two English classes learning about They Say, I Say, Homer’s the Odyssey, Oedipus Rex, Dante’s Inferno and Songs of Solomon. For my Criminal Justice class, I learned about the role of policing and corrections; my favorite part of the class is talking about the Juvenile Justice System

My goal is to meet new people by interacting and socializing. I also plan to take GED classes to get a high school diploma to enroll to another college, and have new experiences.

My favorite hobbies are playing video games, playing basketball, reading books and listening to music. I have a PlayStation and X-Box, and my favorite games are Grand Theft Auto, Wrestling and Sonic the Hedgehog Games. My favorite types of music are Rap, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock & Roll, Alternative, Country, Pop, Indie, Smooth Jazz, Jazz, Opera, Gospel, and Reggae.

I love traveling around the world. I’ve been to Rhode Island, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Orlando, Florida, New Orleans, Cayman Islands, Mexico, Los Angeles, California, Washington D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia.

My favorite sports are baseball, football, basketball, hockey, wrestling, and all kinds of sports. I love all New York Sports teams and my favorites are the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets, Liberty, Rangers, Islanders and Devils. I love watching them on television.
